Since January 2005, James Wibberding has been serving as pastor of the Lansdale Seventh-day Adventist church. James has served as assistant pastor in both Washington and Alabama, then as senior pastor in Northwest Pennsylvania. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee and a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University in Michigan. He is also working toward a Doctor of Ministry from Andrews. As a pastor, Wibberding is most noted for his people skills and biblical preaching.

James and his wife Laura grew up in various parts of Washington and Oregon, where they met in the summer of 1995. They were married on May 16, 1999 in Shelton, Washington. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Southern Adventist University and her Masters of Arts in Religion from Andrews University. Her plans to continue her education with a Ph. D. in Religion have been put on hold with the arrival of their first child, Kara Eliyah Wibberding.

James and Laura enjoy language and books, as well as a number of outdoor activities, like camping, cross-country skiing, and hiking. James also enjoys participating in sports and Laura likes scrap booking.
